Make Big Bird Costume

Libertas won the tournament "Smile" on Venturina

I must admit that at first, when - had just arrived - we saw the organizers carry benches and chairs gyms, outdoor concrete pitch, some doubts about the organizational skills of basketball Venturina I had. Then, I say with equal sincerity, warmth, sympathy and even better refereeing (benevolent but fair and balanced) have completely reversed the negative first impression, we have indeed seen evidence that a reasonable level of basketball tournament can be organized with cost (It should also be remembered that the whole event was aimed at raising funds for the Association of Parents of Children with leukemia or cancer, which I hope went well!) And with good satisfaction of all participants, thanks to the luscious banquet ( all prepared 'in house' by their mothers and grandmothers of the children of the home team) that crowned the event ...
aggressive teams taking part, although certainly Libertas was presented as a favorite, with St. Vincent, the Donoratico (without, however, that Lelebomb Crean engaged in Bormio with the selecao), the Cecina, Alton (the most apart) and of course that hosted the Venturina. The most difficult hurdle would say it is was St. Vincent, the first to succumb in front of our team by a score of 46 to 79:
Libertas Liburnia 79 to 46 SVB San Vincenzo Basketball
17-13, 43-22, 64 - 29 the partial reported with painstaking patience and annotated with meticulous precision by Ms. Vincelli ... (Thanks again!) Also noted that the following scores:
Bacci di Capaci 17, Dal Canto 9, Tonarini 13, Vincelli 8, 3 Lenses, Cecchi 2, Gentiles 5, 6 Filippeschi, Pecere, Minervini, Winter 2 and excellent graft (borrow Basketball Meloria 2000) 12 Lucarelli.
In the evening, while stoically struggled against mosquitoes (the only flaw of the tournament heheh) Libertas met, and 'stretched' (despite the brave exploits of the No. 14 Caroti class ... '97!) the Cecina 94 to 34:
Libertas Liburnia 94 - 34 Basketball Cecina
partial scores (again care of Simon's mother)
26-9, 45 -16, 68 to 21
Bacci di Capaci 12, Dal Canto 18, Tonarini 4, Vincelli 10, Lens 6, Cecchi 3, 4 Gentili, Filippeschi 4, 9 Minervini, Pecere 7, Winter 3, Lucarelli 14
Finally, the next night (plenty of generous mothers who bear Autan scattered around) the Libertas put the final seal on the Tournament defeating runner Donoratico which, although devoid of its most feared there was absolutely lost and defended himself with courage and determination, eventually give up to 68 to 32:
Libertas Liburnia 68 to 32 Basketball Donoratico
partial scores (a by Maria Pia, this time!)
23-12, 43-20, 57-26, 68-32
Bacci di Capaci 12, Dal Canto 13, Tonarini 8, Vincelli 2, 4 lenses, 2 Cecchi, Dear 2, 2 Filippeschi, Minervini 2, Pecere 2, Winter 7, Lucarelli 14

PS if there were errors in the scores sorry ... was not exactly easy to follow each point (especially in comparison with Cecina), from a mosquito bite and the other!
