Mori, the coach of promotion from the C2 C to the national and salvation achieved, greets the Liburnia Libertas and goes to Piombino.

-PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE.
officially ends today, another long season for colors gialloblù. Without a doubt, at least in terms of sporting results, the budget for the Libertas Liburnia Basket may be more than satisfactory. If the first team very well maintained just won the national category in the previous year, the various youth groups have relied on in the region and of particular importance was the conquest of the Tuscan way by the Under 14 team, coached by directly responsible Manrico Vaiani sector. To underline the competitiveness of the Under 13 and Under 15 teams that have really touched very important goals for, certainly not budgeted earlier this year.
Not least is the final assessment to be allocated to the sector Minibasket directed by Federico Marzini. Being able to maintain the previous year, the number of members of various courses is a sign that the company has worked well both in terms of organizational and social. On a technical level that was more comforting to the comparison with the most famous Italian mini-centers, reflecting a growth of undoubted mini athletes. Several trophies, both regionally and nationally, with particular note of credit to groups of young eagles born '97 and '98.
E 'then time of well-deserved vacation, even for this column that tried to comment once more easily (and certainly without any pretense of journalistic nature) the sporting events of all our teams and their players.
Who writes instead passing the baton, with the hope that his successor has the opportunity to improve the form and content of this means of communication, born in 2000 in a little more than craft and developed with the intent to support the aggregation and sense of belonging of all licensed to the large family of Libertas.
especially to children, which should always remain at the heart of the most important corporate initiatives, has sought to promote, through this tool, actions to promote a healthy sports culture inherent in the sharing of educational objectives, educational and social.

I must admit that at first, when - had just arrived - we saw the organizers carry benches and chairs gyms, outdoor concrete pitch, some doubts about the organizational skills of basketball Venturina I had. Then, I say with equal sincerity, warmth, sympathy and even better refereeing (benevolent but fair and balanced) have completely reversed the negative first impression, we have indeed seen evidence that a reasonable level of basketball tournament can be organized with cost (It should also be remembered that the whole event was aimed at raising funds for the Association of Parents of Children with leukemia or cancer, which I hope went well!) And with good satisfaction of all participants, thanks to the luscious banquet ( all prepared 'in house' by their mothers and grandmothers of the children of the home team) that crowned the event ...
aggressive teams taking part, although certainly Libertas was presented as a favorite, with St. Vincent, the Donoratico (without, however, that Lelebomb Crean engaged in Bormio with the selecao), the Cecina, Alton (the most apart) and of course that hosted the Venturina. The most difficult hurdle would say it is was St. Vincent, the first to succumb in front of our team by a score of 46 to 79:

17-13, 43-22, 64 - 29 the partial reported with painstaking patience and annotated with meticulous precision by Ms. Vincelli ... (Thanks again!) Also noted that the following scores:

In the evening, while stoically struggled against mosquitoes (the only flaw of the tournament heheh) Libertas met, and 'stretched' (despite the brave exploits of the No. 14 Caroti class ... '97!) the Cecina 94 to 34:

... but it is the desire that had passed, even after all things considered undeserved exclusion from the quarter-finals. In fact, it is not the time ... There have been elections and I are found in the middle, albeit with little (an understatement) success. Meanwhile, Libertas
compete in a tournament (Memorial Renzi) Chiavari / board / Cogorno to finishing a respectable third place (... although, as usual, we can say with confidence that 'morality' - having scores - was second only to the winning team, the excellent Juvi Cremona).
Of the three games I have not, unfortunately, neither in Liguria scores or reports ... I could not extract them now (but there are plenty of videos on our Youtube site!): I can only say that the first game, against Angelico Biella, was played so perfectly by our guys and from implantation (of the loan very welcome ' cousin 'Donoratico) Crean.
not flawless but the second match against Cremona ... very strong team no doubt: the high number of fouls in the fast, physically and technically equipped players have forced our opponents from the first time required the coach to address the second time in a clear inferiority, conditioning irretrievably later ages, broadly balanced.
"no history" following the confrontation in the final 3 rd / 4 th place we saw the opposite Lions Brescia. Nice team, but not the height of a Libertas determined and eager to rebuild.
